Meet Your Tutor:
From the moment Jane Stevens first stepped into a printmaking studio, she was captivated. That initial spark of enthusiasm, to explore every process and technique, has never faded. She loves the thrill of lifting the blankets from the press to see her work transformed, and the joy of experimenting with new methods to create something unexpected and beautiful. Printmaking is full of surprises, and that constant sense of discovery keeps her inspired.
Over the past twenty years, Jane has developed her practice through studies at Massey and The Learning Connexion, as well as her own studio work and tutoring. She continues to learn with every print she makes, and sharing that knowledge and excitement with students is a central part of her creative journey.
“Printmaking is a world of constant discovery, embracing the unexpected, taming the techniques.”
