Spray Painting Fundamentals
Date: Saturday 31st January | 10:00am - 4:00pm
With Tutor: Skies The Limit
Discover the foundations of spray painting in a supportive, hands-on workshop designed for both total beginners and experienced makers looking to refine their technique. Across the day, you’ll learn how to handle spray cans with confidence, understand pressure and distance control, and experiment with smooth blends, fades, stencils, masking and layering. With guided practice and plenty of time to explore, you’ll develop the skills needed to achieve clean lines, even coverage and expressive effects.
Whether you are interested in murals, upcycling, creative projects or simply trying something new, this workshop gives you the practical know-how to get started safely and successfully. You’ll even have the opportunity to spray paint directly onto one of our external building walls, like a true street artist!
What You'll Learn:
In this one day Spray Painting Fundamentals workshop you’ll learn how to handle spray cans with control and confidence, exploring essential techniques such as smooth even coverage, clean line work, fades, gradients and simple shading. Along the way you’ll pick up tips for planning a composition, working safely with materials and creating crisp, vibrant finishes that hold up over time. You’ll even have the opportunity to spray paint directly onto one of our buildings!
What You'll Take Home:
